Great location, surrounded by lush greenery, delicious breakfasts, upgraded to a deluxe room for free, clean and spacious beach.

Smart building, not much else.

The staff were pretentious and, by Thai standards, very unhelpful. The beds are rock hard, and the hotel is a long way out of Kao Lak centre. There is no shuttle bus, so must use taxis. After two days of feeling very unwelcome we moved out to the Nangthong Beach resort in Kao Lak itself, which was a huge improvement. Quiet, clean, friendly staff, much more convenient, and also cheaper.The Khaolak Bayfront Resort it not in KaoLak. It was a bad`experience and we were pleased to leave.

I had a two week vacation planned and since we had difficulty choosing between two hotels we stayed one week in each. The Bayfront was the second hotel. We visited it during our first week and since we wanted a room on the first floor, the staff were very helpful and changed our booking. We chose it for the location right on the beach and were not disappointed - it is at the end of right on the beach - plenty of sun loungers. Even though this was the end year festivities period, we didn't have the feeling of being crowded. The room was spacious, though perhaps the furnishings are getting a bit tired compared to the Bhandari. The breakfasts were copious with a wide choice. I would certainly recommend the hotel - good value for money

Coziest, cleanest, and most comfortable hotel we've ever stayed at in Thailand! The staff is incredibly helpful and friendly. The bed is perfect for my back and the pillows are amazing. The breakfast has a great variety of Thai and European options. The location is just a short taxi ride away from the center and there are enough restaurants nearby. The beach is absolutely fantastic! We loved our vacation here and can't wait to come back to this wonderful place!

I chose to stay at Khaolak Bayfront Resort because I wanted to explore the Tsunami Memorial Museum, which was conveniently located nearby. However, I was pleasantly surprised by the complimentary wireless Internet access provided by the hotel. The fast and reliable connection allowed me to stay connected throughout my stay, making it easy to plan my daily activities and share my experiences with friends and family. Plus, the cocktail at the pool bar was the best in town, and each guest was treated to one cocktail per stay. The on-site restaurant also stayed open late, providing a convenient option for late-night dining.

They upgraded us to a seaview room. The beach is nice and not very busy. Nice surroundings and garden.

This resort is 3-stars at most. Although the rooms are spacy and nice, the facilities are poor. No newspaper, no shuttle bus to the nearby village of Kao-Lak, no free internet, no gym. Breakfast is mediocre and low-quality. The meals in the restaurant are not pricey but it takes ages to get a meal after order. The resoirt is quite isolated, some 2-3 km S of Kao-Lak.

The location of this hotel is ideal for a relaxing getaway. It's just a short walk along the beach or a quick cab ride to the town, so you can easily explore the area or enjoy some nightlife if you wish. The staff here are incredibly helpful and friendly. They go out of their way to accommodate your requests and make your stay as comfortable as possible. The rooms overlooking the pool are spacious and well-maintained. They offer fantastic views of the surrounding areas, whether it's the sea, the mountains, or the lush green corridors leading to the beach, pools. The breakfast buffet is satisfying, with a wide range of choices available. You can start your day with delicious omelettes made to order at the egg corner, ensuring a great start to your morning.

Nothing not to like.

We had an amazing time on our vacation at a beachfront hotel. The location was excellent with two to three dependable restaurants and lovely beaches nearby. The staff provided implacable service and the breakfast was simply delicious. The rooms were well-maintained with the best bathroom service ever and had all the necessary facilities for the perfect stay. The stunning views from the room made our stay more enjoyable.

The hotel needs some improvements in terms of its infrastructure as it is slightly outdated.

The staff were extrimely good and attentive. they went the "extra mile" on more than one occasion. The food was good and not expensive by UK standards (about Harvester cost) although expensive by local stndards.

The Internet was 150 thai Baht and it did not work correctly the PC's it ran on were old and was that old the cmos battery was dead, given the hotel cost it should have been free, no Wifi either. The TV in the room was small and the picture was out of focus, there was no UK speaking channels (I only wanted the news channel) and no DVD. also the room minibar was way too expensive.

One of the biggest drawbacks is the limited variety in food. Although the food is decent, there are not enough options to keep it interesting for a long stay.

This hotel is perfectly located by the sea and the beach is really beautiful. The hotel facilities are also great, including two lovely pools and a fantastic spa. Additionally, the staff is very helpful and friendly. it's a clean hotel with a great breakfast.
